weeks 38 - 39

Everything is pretty much the same. I haven't had any sleep problems the last couple weeks. No more heartburn as long as I stay away from coffee - very strange. Nothing else gives me heartburn. Wish I'd figured that earlier. Braxton Hicks contractions are happening more frequently and are stronger, but no real labor signs yet (I don't expect to see any for another week or so anyway). I found one little lone stretch mark on my stomach - one. And it waited until a week before my due date to show up. How funny is that. Back still hurts. And that's all folks. Just waiting for Baby now.

weeks 35 - 36

Well. I've had an easier time falling asleep. And I discovered I only get heartburn when I drink coffee. Way more energy the last few weeks than the whole pregnancy, which is wonderful. Other than that, you might as well just read the post below, because nothing else has changed.

weeks 28 - 34

True, I haven't updated as often as in the past, but not much has changed.

Here are the symptoms I am experiencing now. They have changed gradually, and I feel better this trimester than I ever did in my 2nd (and of course, that awful 1st trimester).

Back/hip-ache. Sore muscles from lack of exercise and only being able to sleep in 2 positions. Less sleepiness and fatigue because my iron has gone up a bit. Slight stretch marks on boobs. Damnit. Braxton Hicks contractions are becoming more frequent and intense. Boobs are still store and sensitive. Trouble sleeping at night.

week 26-27

Occasional nausea from dehydration. Minor heartburn, but not very often. Some headaches. Less dizziness. Nipples are as sensitive as they were in my first trimester, and breasts are now beginning to get sore. Back/hip-ache every day. Braxton hicks contractions. Tummy is totally, completely in my way. :) Linea nigra has shown up, but very, very lightly. And no stretch marks yet!

weeks 24 - 25

Everything is the same. Occasional headaches. More light-headedness and dizziness. Slight nausea if I eat too much. I'm going to have to train myself to eat small meals every few hours like I did when I had morning sickness. My appetite still hasn't become ravenous like I thought it would. I eat pretty much like I did before I got pregnant, except now I eat breakfast (if I don't, I get extremely light-headed and dizzy).

Only one more week until I am officially in my third trimester, and then only 13 weeks to go until my due date! It's crazy to think I'm having this baby in just three short months.

weeks 22 - 23

Appetite completely back to pre-pregnancy, except I still can't eat my beloved hamburgers (although most beef is tolerated if mixed in a dish). Bacon and leaf salads are back on the menu. Bladder is growing tired of being abused by the growing, kicking baby. Backache only at night after a long day, only occasionally during the day. Sensitivity to smells. Nipples are less sensitive. Baby becomes physically heavy, and stomach starts getting in the way -- it's seriously hard to put on a pair of pants or shoes.

weeks 20- 21

Appetite mostly back to pre-pregnancy, food aversions only to beef, bacon, and leaf salad. Sensitivity to smells, slightly sore nipples, backache, occasional cramps in abdomen, occasional excess saliva. Stomach explodes! Easily visible through clothing. Peeing every two hours during the day and about four times at night.

week 19

Morning sickness completely gone. Backache, occasional cramps in abdomen, sore nipples (though not as sensitive), food aversions, excess saliva, and sensitivity to smells still present. Lack of appetite. Bladder often needs to be relieved.

weeks 17 - 18

Morning sickness fades, as does weakness and light-headedness, but nausea is still very present. Backache, occasional cramps in abdomen, sore nipples (though not as sensitive), food aversions, excess saliva, and sensitivity to smells still present. Having to pee more often throughout day and at night. Uterus is firm and rounded, and now barely showing beneath clothing.

weeks 13 - 16

Occasional headaches, backache and aching in hip area, trouble sleeping, in addition to morning sickness, sore nipples, light-headedness, weakness, small cramps in abdomen, sensitivity to smells, lack of appetite, food aversions, excess saliva. Uterus is firm and easily felt, but barely showing. Having to pee more often throughout day and at night. Baby is felt kicking at 16 weeks and 5 days.
